Ever wish you had more food prep space? Most of us Airstreamers would answer a resounding "yes." With this bespoke piece of Airstream gear, you'll immediately GAIN OVER 3 SQUARE FEET of food prep space.
Punch up the decor of your Airstream Classic (2023 and newer) with this Cooktop Cover (also known as a noodle board), which spans the Contoure 3-burner gas ranges in these Classics. We also offer an Airstream Cook Top Cover for 2022 and previous Classic models.
Four wood legs elevate the cover above the grates, resting on your countertop on soft, non-skid poly pads.
Artisan-crafted one-at-a-time in our Michigan shop from beautiful premium hardwoods, choose from:
• Solid Walnut (colors range from tan to dark/chocolate brown)
• Walnut & Maple Stripes, a beautiful combination of alternating graduated stripes with great contrast, or
• Mixed Hardwoods, which will include ash, cherry, hard white maple and walnut. Your cover may also feature other domestic/exotic species like ambrosia maple, beech, hickory, purpleheart, sycamore and others.
Variations in color and grain are part of the natural beauty of wood, so your cover will be truly one-of-a-kind (and will vary from the photos). Although I work hard to limit imperfections, knots, cracks and nicks may be present and are simply part of the wood's character.
Please measure the outer dimensions of your cooktop frame to ensure this cover will fit. It should measure approx. 22.5" wide x 15.5" deep x 1.25" to top of grates. Our cover measures approx. 26.5" wide x 18" deep x 2.5" high.
These covers are made to order, and the current lead time is 3 to 4 weeks.
Finished with our food-safe mineral oil and beeswax mixture, which really showcases the wood grain and color. Easy-to-care for, and care instructions are included.
Designed for Airstreams, but we can handcraft covers for almost any cook top.
Covers are NOT designed to remain in place when trailer is being towed. They must be stowed securely.
